On May 16, 2024, we celebrated the inauguration of our new production facility in Falkenstein/Vogtland. All invited guests, including employees with their families, project participants, customers, politicians and many more, were able to get an impression of the significantly enlarged production area. A two-storey office and social building as well as a production hall and warehouse are located on an impressive 2,700 square meters of gross floor area.
CEO Markus Flechsing found touching words, accompanied by Thomas Henning (District Administrator of the Vogtland district), Sören Voigt (Member of the Saxon State Parliament) and Falkenstein’s Mayor Marco Siegemund, among others.
The cheerleaders from CVV CheerMANIA e.V. and the Schalmeienfreunde Stadt Falkenstein e.V. also put everyone in a good mood, as did the culinary delights provided by Edeka Kadelke, the Singing Barkeepers and Burger 25.
And while the guests were able to take a look behind the scenes, children had fun with face painting, the photo box and rides in a fire engine from the Vogelsgrün fire department. The grand finale was a fireworks display. Incidentally, every guest received a cool gift to take home.
We have already been producing technical textiles at our new site in Falkenstein for several weeks, including heating elements, sensor technology and other innovative solutions for B2B customers. During the planning and construction of the new hall, which was carried out by Vollack, a special focus was placed on sustainability and energy efficiency.
