We are happy to see that you are interested in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Your personal data is treated confidentially and in accordance with all legal regulations. The following content informs you thoroughly about how we handle your personal data.

1. SSL Protocols
This website uses SSL protocols in order to guarantee a secure webspace and to allow for a secure transmission of confidential or sensitive content when you send us, the service provider of this website, any inquiries. You can tell that our connection is secure since the address bar of your browser displays “https://” instead of “http://” and there is a small lock symbol next to the address.

The activation of SSL protocols allows you to send us data while preventing third parties from accessing this data.

2. Access Data and Server Log Files
You can visit our website anytime without providing any information on who you are. However, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file each time you access our website. This server log file documents the accessing of our website, and it documents the following information (access data): name of the requested file, date and time of the request, amount of data transmitted, and provider making the request.

This access data is only evaluated to assure the smooth operation of our website and to improve our online presence. However, this data does not enable us to identify any person.

After having completed our contractual obligations or after you have deleted your customer account, your data will not be used any longer. However, tax and trade laws require us to store your data for a certain amount of time. Once this storage period is over, your data is deleted unless you have allowed us the continued use of your date or unless we are legally permitted to continue using certain data. If the latter is the case, you will be informed about it in this document. Please note that you can delete your customer account at any time by contacting us as stated in section 9 or by using the dedicated feature in your customer account.

4. Data Transmission
In order to fulfill our contractual obligations, we will send your data to the commissioned shipping company. However, we will only share data that is necessary for the successful shipment. Moreover, we will share your payment information with the bank or payment service provider that is responsible for the processing of your payment and that you selected during the process of placing an order with us.

Circulating your Data to Shipping Companies

If you explicitly permit us to do so, we will share your phone number and email address with the commissioned shipping company so that they may be able to contact you in order to either announce or make arrangements for the delivery of your order. This practice is in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You may revoke your consent to this business practice at any time by sending us a message. After we have received said message, we will delete all data that was provided for the purpose stated above unless you have allowed us the continued use of your data or unless we are legally permitted to continue using the data. If the latter is the case, you will be informed about it in this document.

Throughout this process, all legal regulations are paid attention to and will not be infringed. However, in the unfortunate event that an applicant cannot be hired, their application will be saved and stored for two months.
